Detached house with sustainable technology and design
This building project involves the construction of a modern detached house. The large plot is beautifully situated on the outskirts of Düsseldorf. The two-storey, cubic structure is rather closed on the street side and opens up to the garden in an angular and staggered manner with roof terraces. On the ground floor is the spacious living area with a fireplace, an open-plan cooking and dining area and two study rooms. The bedrooms are located on the upper floor. The master bedroom is accessed via a spacious dressing room. The bedroom and bathroom are orientated towards a large roof terrace. The children's rooms also have their own bathroom and terrace. A fitness area with swimming pool is located in the basement and is lit by a spacious, introverted deep courtyard. The building is fully clinkered; large glazed areas and skylights provide plenty of light on all levels. The building is equipped with state-of-the-art building services. A combined heat and power unit and a PV system supply the building with electricity and heat. All controls can be regulated in a user-friendly way via a smart home solution. Completion 2022
